Project goals:
The project for the construction of the 110 kV OHTL Kropotkinskaya — Verninskaya No. 2 with a branch line to the Polyus distribution substation aims to ensure a reliable power supply for the power consuming devices of Polyus Verninskoye JSC (Verninsky mining and processing plant).
SOLUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION:
Construction works were divided into four stages:
Stage 1: Reconstruction of the 110 kV Verninskaya substation with the engagement of a new 25 MVA transportable modular substation;
Stage 2: Construction of a 110 kV feeder cell in the outdoor switchgear of the 110 kV Polus distribution substation to connect the 110 kV OHTL Kropotkinskaya — Verninskaya No. 2 comprising the branch line to the Polyus distribution substation;
Stage 3: Construction of a 110 kV feeder cell in the outdoor switchgear of the 110 kV Kropotkinskaya substation to connect the 110 kV OHTL Kropotkinskaya — Verninskaya No. 2 comprising the branch line to the Polyus distribution substation;
Stage 4: Construction of the 110 kV OHTL Kropotkinskaya — Verninskaya No. 2 with a branch line to the Polus distribution substation.
The noticeable features of the project:
• The construction site is located in the permafrost area.
• High level of topography dissection.
• Application of compacted wire with reinforced core.
RESULTS ACHIEVED:
The company completed a full range of engineering surveys, developed design and detailed documentation, obtained expertise approval.
